A Quick Filmmaking Update

Hello friends,

I’m currently deep in the edit of a short film, which is taking center stage for the next several weeks.

Essays will continue, but at a slower pace while I tackle the footage in the editing room—which is actually my apartment, since I don’t have access to a high-priced editing suite with cutting-edge equipment.

I’m also posting Notes periodically in response to the chaotic news cycle.

In addition, I may post shorter reflection essays and film updates when I can. The film itself deals with some of the same themes I explore in my Substack writing, so I look forward to sharing more when it’s ready.
